Maria bought an apartment in Kolonaki, in central Athens, and decided to go ahead with a home renovation. The apartment is on the ground floor of a building constructed in the 1970s and has an area of 32 m².

The property had a kitchen, a combined living room/bedroom and a bathroom. Once the architectural design of the apartment was complete, the necessary renovation permit was issued by the local planning authority and a wide range of building works was carried out:

• The bathroom and kitchen were completely stripped out
• The debris was taken to collection skips and removed from the site
• The electrical and plumbing installation was replaced
• The new plumbing installation was made with multilayer pipes and a distribution manifold
• A new distribution board was installed and the apartment's sockets and switches were replaced
• A walk-in shower was built in the bathroom, with a shower column and an enclosure
• New floor and wall tiles were laid in the bathroom
• New wooden kitchen cabinets with laminate finish were built
• New sanitary ware was installed
• Laminate flooring was laid in the living room/bedroom
• The walls were skimmed, primed and painted with branded eco-friendly paints.

Maria was so pleased with the result of her home renovation that she asked our company to renovate a second property in Thiseio.
