The apartment in Filothei is in an old apartment building constructed in the 1960s. Its owners felt it was essential to carry out a complete renovation and turned to our company to remodel it.

It is a 130 m² apartment on the second floor of a building in a quiet neighbourhood of Filothei. Studying the existing layout, we found that it no longer met the family's daily needs, so a new architectural design was decided. Once the design was complete, the works carried out in detail were the following:

• The bathroom (sanitary ware, tiles, plumbing) was completely stripped out, as were the wooden kitchen cabinets.
• Floor tiles were removed throughout the apartment.
• Sections of the interior walls were demolished.
• All debris was carefully removed and disposed of in special skips via chutes.
• New water-supply and drainage pipes were installed in the bathroom, with a distribution manifold (collector), and in the kitchen.
• A triple-energy solar water heater was installed on the roof of the building.
• A complete electrical installation was carried out with new wiring, earthing and extra circuits to serve additional appliances. The main distribution board was also replaced.
• Granite tiles were laid on the floors of the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen.
• New solid-wood kitchen cabinets and new bedroom wardrobes were built to a design chosen by the owners.
• New solid interior doors and a security door at the main entrance were fitted.
• A solid oak floor was laid in the living room.
• The wooden floor was finished with two-component varnish.
• Plasterboard suspended ceilings were built in every room of the apartment.
• New LeGrand sockets and switches were fitted.
• New sanitary ware was installed in the bathroom, including a concealed Geberit cistern and a Jacuzzi.
• The Jacuzzi and the kitchen worktop were clad in mosaic tiles.
• New awnings were installed on the apartment's veranda.
• The walls of the apartment were re-skimmed and painted, and the façade was also painted.

Our company delivered the project within the original budget and the works schedule agreed by both parties.
